They are afraid because the women’s struggle undermines the logic of the economic program that favors the rich over the majority of the population.

They are afraid because the women’s struggle destroys the fictitious walls that the government has been building between Jewish and Arab women, Mizrahi and Ashkenazi women, religious and secular women.

They are afraid because the women’s struggle draws connections between the rights for shelter, education and health and the rights for employment and a living wage.

They are afraid because the single-mothers are struggling for justice, not charity.
