On Friday, November 16th 2001, Ta'ayush demonstrated in Tel-Aviv against the lifting of MK Azmi Bishara's immunity and the "Yisrael Kats Law", which deprives Arab Knesset members of the right to be elected, and threatens to deprive the Palestinian citizens of Israel of the right to political representation.

ביום שישי, 16 בנובמבר 2001, חברי תעאיוש הפגינו בתל-אביב נגד הסרת חסינותו של חבר הכנסת עזמי בשארה ונגד "חוק ישראל כץ", אשר שולל מחברי כנסת ערבים את הזכות להיבחר ומאיים לשלול מאזרחי ישראל הפלסטינים את הזכות לייצוג פוליטי.

This demonstration is part of our fight for our right to live in a democracy, for fair representation for all, and protest against the exclusion of the Arab public from the political discourse, and against ethnic silencing - the first step towards a racist dictatorship.
