Protest March and Humanitarian aid
to the refugees of Jenin's refugee camp
מצעד מחאה וסיוע הומניטרי לפליטי מחנה הפליטים ג'נין

Reports from Jenin that are coming in paint a gruesome picture:
Hundreds are killed, their bodies piling
up in the houses and streets for lack of ability to transport them to
graveyards; the wounded are dying in the streets, with access of medical
assistance barred; the camp has been bombed from the air; houses are being
demolished with their inhabitants still inside. Hundreds of families have
been driven out of the camp with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
Others are left behind, destitute following the demolition of their homes
and destruction of their property. There is a dire need of food and water

משטח מחנה הפליטים ג'נין מגיעים כל הזמן דיווחים על מעשי זוועה: מאות הרוגים,
גופות המצטברות ברחובות ובבתים בלי שניתן להביאן לקבורה, פצועים הגוססים
ברחובות בלי שיוכלו לקבל טיפול רפואי, הפגזות מן האוויר, הרס בתים על יושביהם.
מאות משפחות גורשו מן המחנה בידים ריקות, בלא כל רכוש מלבד הבגדים שלעורן.
אחרות נותרו במחנה בחוסר כל לאחר שבתיהן נהרסו על תכולתם. נוצר מחסור חמור במים
ובמזון.

The Supreme Court has denied several petitions against the
demolition of houses and other IDF actions in Jenin, but we are not
silent in the face of these atrocities!
Each and every person of conscience among us is obliged to remind the
government of Israel and our fellow Israelis of the boundaries imposed by
human morality.
On Saturday, April 13th 2002
we marched in protest against these horrors, from the Megido junction to the
Salem checkpoint on the road to Jenin. The trucks accompanying us carried
much needed emergency supplies for the homeless, the destitute and the
expelled of Jenin.

בג"צ דחה כמה עתירות נגד הרס הבתים ושאר פעולות הצבא בג'נין,
אך אנו איננו שותקים נוכח הזוועות!
על כל אדם בעל מצפון בינינו מוטלת החובה להזכיר לממשלת ישראל ולחברה הישראלית
שבקרבה אנו חיים את גבולות המוסר האנושי. קולנו חייב להישמע עכשיו!
בשבת, 13 באפריל 2002,
צעדנו מצומת מגידו אל עבר מחסום סאלם בואכה
ג'נין בצעדת מחאה נגד הזוועה, והבאנו עמנו משאיות ועליהן סיוע חירום למכותרים,
למגורשים ולחסרי הבית בג'נין.
בארגון הפעולה השתתפו הארגונים הבאים:, בנק"י, גוש שלום, הוועד
נגד הריסת בתים, הקמפוס לא שותק, ועדת המעקב העליונה של ערביי ישראל, ועד
הפעולה הדרוזי, חד"ש, מוסאווא , פורום שמאל, פרופיל חדש, קואליציית נשים לשלום,
קול אחר בגליל, תעאיוש.
