On Saturday, February 9th, Ta'ayush began it's activities in Ein Nakuba.
After a long period of meeting with people from the village and learning
about the needs of the village and how Ta'ayush can get involved, we
finally began the process.
There are about 1800 residents in the village, of which 450 are students.
They attend a school together with the neighboring village of Ein Rafa.
The infrastructure of the school is very run-down and neglected, as is the
actual level of education.
We began our work with a one-day project involving the
students and their families in the school grounds: cleaning up, gardening
and painting.
We hope this activity is an opening for a long-term
relationship with the village.
