Saturday, Umm el Arais lands, near the illegal outpost of Mitzpeh Yair:
As every Saturday, the Awad family – owners of the lands – Men, women and children came to visit their land. Since settlers of the illegal outpost of Mitzpeh Yair had invaded it, a few years ago, it has been declared “a disputed area”,
As every Saturday, a closed military zone order has been issued to the family by the Israeli Army, and the video shows a soldier taking one of the family’s children outside of their land.
The second part of the video shows the same child after he managed to enter the land again, where he met a settlers’ child, concerning whom, apparently, the closed military zone order was not valid.
The Awad family child, dressed in a pair of blue Jeans, approached the settlers’ child and shook his hand, to the hurrays of the rest of the family.
The settlers’ child seems shocked for a moment, then gets back to his senses, and chooses to avoid appearing as a “sucker” but to demonstrate a proper zionist response to the attack of kind gestures.
